AIGA Raleigh Design For Hope

stationery/illustration/design/passion project

Challenge

AIGA Raleigh and HP Graphic Arts collaborated to create 100 card kits for the patients of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in a Design for Hope initiative. Designers, artists, and anyone with a kind heart was called on to participate in this program.

Solution

These cards were inspired firstly by the children. Creatively I was inspired by one of my favorite artists, Henri Matisse. Use of lively colors to evoke energy and happiness was the goal here. Hopefully, it brought a smile to a child’s face and warmed the hearts of those they gave them to.
